Sometimes no matter how much you train, things just fall apart. This is the write-up for my first attempt at doing a 10x Iron triathlon: 24 miles of swimming, 1120 miles of cycling, and 262 miles of running, as one single event, pretty much continuously except for sleep and bad weather.
